Welcome to the Burton Sailing Club website

We are a fun, family club that provides a vast range of activities from training for beginners to regular racing, windsurfing and offshore sailing.

We enjoy excellent sailing facilities at Foremark Reservoir amidst the dramatic Derbyshire countryside, in the heart of the National Forest within easy reach of Derby, Nottingham, Burton, Leicester and Loughborough.

RYA Club Racing Rules Adviser Course

This course is open to anyone in the Midlands region with a fair working knowledge of the rules and will enable someone, or a few people, to become your club's 'go to' to get on-the-water dispute resolved in as fair, informal and diplomatic a way as possible. AGM 2019

This years Sailing, Windsurfing and Powerboat courses for complete beginners and improvers are now available to book online. As an RYA accredited training centre we pride ourselves on offering high quality, safe and friendly training for everyone. Perfect when you are just starting out. RYA level 1 'Start Sailing' Course is a weekend course designed to introduce you to sailing and get you out on the water sailing under supervision in light wind. Awards Night

Please come along and join us for a fabulous night of glitter and prizes! Our annual Club Award presentation evening will take place on Saturday 2nd February 2019 at The Hilton House Hotel meeting from 6.30pm with a 7.30pm start. The theme this year is 'Sparkle Night' so no particular dress code, just wear something... anything! ... that makes you feel sparkly! Existing club members can also now renew their membership and secure their space in the dinghy park.
