Welcome to the Burton Sailing Club website

We are a fun, family club that provides a vast range of activities from training for beginners to regular racing, windsurfing and offshore sailing.

We enjoy excellent sailing facilities at Foremark Reservoir amidst the dramatic Derbyshire countryside, in the heart of the National Forest within easy reach of Derby, Nottingham, Burton, Leicester and Loughborough.

Club News 2019 Update

With only three weeks to go until the new sailing season, plans are already underway to ensure 2019 is going to be a great year both on and off the water here at Burton Sailing Club! RYA Club Racing Rules Adviser Course

This course is open to anyone in the Midlands region with a fair working knowledge of the rules and will enable someone, or a few people, to become your club's 'go to' to get on-the-water dispute resolved in as fair, informal and diplomatic a way as possible. Further Training Courses now available

This years Sailing, Windsurfing and Powerboat courses for complete beginners and improvers are now available to book online. As an RYA accredited training centre we pride ourselves on offering high quality, safe and friendly training for everyone. Perfect when you are just starting out. RYA level 1 'Start Sailing' Course is a weekend course designed to introduce you to sailing and get you out on the water sailing under supervision in light wind.
