BURTON SC Flying Fifteen Open Postponed

Written by
Hi everyone, could you please share amongst yourselves that in line with the RYA cancellation  of all events and the current government advice the Sailing Committee has decided to postpone  our BURTON SAILING CLUB  FLYING FIFTEEN  open. Our intention is to replan the event to occur in October instead.  It may result in a crowded calendar at the end of the year I am afraid so we will publish new dates as soon as we agree them. Following yesterday's AGM, I would like to thank you for putting your trust in me as the new Commodore of Burton sailing Club, a position that I am very proud to hold. I would like to express my sincere thanks and I am sure, the appreciation of all club members, to the outgoing flag officers, namely: Martin Nelson  (Commodore) Malcolm Hall (Vice Commodore) and Gary Butler (Rear Commodore) for all that they have done during their terms in office. I would also like to thank all that have assisted them on the various committees, many of which have agreed to…

To continue the development of this area of the club and not wishing to rest on our Laurels of being voted the 'NWF windsurfing club of the year 2018', we are trying to source funding for a range of intermediate windsurf kit, with the hope of running more intermediate Windsurfing and Windfoiling 'first flight' sessions here at Burton sailing Club during the summer.... Watch this space!  For those that have…
