This years Sailing, Windsurfing and Powerboat courses for complete beginners and improvers are now available to book online.
As an RYA accredited training centre we pride ourselves on offering high quality, safe and friendly training for everyone. Perfect when you are just starting out.
RYA level 1 'Start Sailing' Course is a weekend course designed to introduce you to sailing and get you out on the water sailing under supervision in light wind. Our Level 2 course Is a 3 day course (usually over two weekends) and aims to build your confidence to a level where you can sail on your own. Courses are available for both adults and children and run alongside each other so families are able to all learn at the same time. If you can already sail, why not enhance your sailing knowledge and skills with one of our improver courses? Our 'better sailing' RYA level 3 course aims to improve your boat handling skills and consolidate everything that you learnt on the Level 1 and level 2 courses.
Our RYA 'Start Racing' course is a great way to learn the basics of dinghy racing and give you the 'upper edge' when you first start racing against your friends at the club.
'Sailing with Spinnakers' will introduce you to 3 sail sailing... There is always plenty of opportunity to practise your new skills whilst crewing for our double hand sailors or why not try 'trapezing' A great way to get involved in performance dinghy sailing.
Powerboat enthusiasts can learn the basics of boat handling on one of our Powerboat level 2 courses for beginners and would further benefit from our weekend 'safety boat' course, learning what you should do in the event of an emergency on the water.
For our windsurfers, we have Taster sessions, Beginner courses and our progressive coaching and foiling clinics for those wishing to further their windsurfing skills.
Discounts on all courses are available to club members however you do not need to be a club member to participate in any of our courses. All kit is supplied by the club.
