Welcome to the Burton Sailing Club website
We are a fun, family club that provides a vast range of activities from training for beginners to regular racing, windsurfing and offshore sailing.
We enjoy excellent sailing facilities at Foremark Reservoir amidst the dramatic Derbyshire countryside, in the heart of the National Forest within easy reach of Derby, Nottingham, Burton, Leicester and Loughborough.
More information about the activities we offer, and membership, is given via the tabs above, and the latest news from the club is given below. We hope you enjoy reading about our club, and come and visit us at Foremark soon!
You may have seen some of our windsurf members flying around the reservoir this winter! Foiling has become the new 'big thing' in sailing with rapid growth in all areas.
To continue the development of this area of the club and not wishing to rest on our Laurels of being voted the 'NWF windsurfing club of the year 2018', we are trying to source funding for a range of intermediate windsurf kit, with the hope of running more intermediate Windsurfing and Windfoiling 'first flight' sessions here at Burton sailing Club during the summer....
